Simhadri or Simhachalam temple is a Hindu temple located near Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh, South India. It is dedicated to the incarnation (avatar) of Vishnu known as Narasimha (the man-lion).

The temple was built in Kalinga architectural style. The Kshetrapalaka of Simhachalam is Kalabhairava and pilgrims must visit the Kalabhairava Temple in the area prior to visiting the Narasimha Swamy temple.
I can say Visakhapatnam is my second hometown, I spent my teenage in Vepagunta in Visakhapatnam, which is just 6 km from Simhachalam, We used to run a dairy farm in Vepagunta and every day I was going to Simhachalam to distribute products to the shops to sell, more than 10 years :). I know each and every place in Simhachalam, Saturday is the famous day to visit the temple, therefore pilgrims coming from all over India to visit the temple on Saturday. So had a chance to met different people from different places from India.
